How to live a good life

Before I go on, I want to share a link I came accross on the NHS website. It is a list of ugent contact numbers as well as tools to help with your struggles including important information from money worries, bereavement and more.

What does a good life look like to you? Is it having loving relationships, security, freedom, adventure? We all pine for different things for different reasons but its usually a feeling we are wanting to experience. Its not really about the fancy car, its the "feeling" having that car will bring. Striving for a big house, lots of money are all external "things" that people want to "have" or "do" and the things they want to have or do are because of how they think about these things, how much value they give which comes from the beliefs they hold.

Your beliefs govern you
"A belief system is an ideology or set of principles that helps us to interpret our everyday reality. This could be in the form of religion, political affiliation, philosophy, or spirituality, among many other things. These beliefs are shaped and influenced by a number of different factors" (source - google).

What you may not know is that some of these beliefs have masked the real you, your purpose, your true desires and abilities. Delving into your values and beliefs and figuring out where they came from is a great start to unlocking your full potential. Do the beliefs come from you really? Or is it through years of conditioning by family, friends, teachers, by an experience that someone taught you was negative etc.

There are 3 main elements of yourself which we will cover. They are the Mind, body and soul.
What you think and what you do determine how you feel. Having a balance between these areas is crucial for a good life!

Professional people to listen to
These are my personal recomendations. A lot of the knowledge I have acquired to date has come from some of these leading professionals in their field. I do believe there have been smear campaigns on some of them, especially the ones giving free information to help people self diagnose and heal naturally. such as Dr Berg and Barbra O'neil. It is up to you to gather the information provided and make your own mind up on whether to follow the advice given. Don't ever do something drastic to your health without speaking to a healthcare advisor. I would suggest holistic but it is your life and this is your body! However, once you start understanding how your body works, a lot of these people make so much sense. I believe we are all different and it is not a one size shoe fits all. You will find conflicting information throughout the internet, Carnivore diet is best, Vegan diet is best etc I believe it is different for us all and something only trial and error or advanced testing that can confirm what is right for each one of us. ​
